About Us
John Carr has 20 years experience working in the Harbor Springs real estate market. He made his start working for Coldwell Banker in 1987 where he was awarded “Rookie of the Year.” John continued building his real estate career working for Birchwood Realty and then Re/Max of Harbor Springs. In 2004, John and Jill Van Alstyne partnered to form Harbor Springs Realty. John was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and graduated from Phillips Academy and Georgetown University. John and his wife Nona have two sons, Tyler, recent graduate of Wabash College, and Charlie, currently attending the University of Michigan.
